Background for final logo

As part of this project we had to come up with a logo design for our Artist, which best represents there style of working without copying there style altogether. I found this really Challenging as I think its hard to show someone Else's style when you have your own kind of style, so I tried to incorporate both our style's i really like my final logo i think its simple but it works.

Sara Fanelli Mood Board

We then had to create a mood board with things that we had found out about our artist Sara Fanelli has several different influences one being architecture as her father was an architect. 

Design Heroes: Sara Fanelli.

As our first project of the term we were given the brief, design heroes personally i thought this was going to be our own choice of artist who inspires us the most and who's work we like the most, but i was wrong we had to choose our heroes out of a hat which to be honest worked out better as it was probably someone you'd never heard of so you could look at this project with fresh eyes. i managed to pick Sara Fanelli out of the hat who's work I've looked at before she isn't someone i would necessarily say i liked but her work was certainly different.
